Apparently, someone out there has noted the dearth of decent research on one of the greatest authors of the fantasy field ... and decided to rectify the matter by publishing. The forthcoming book is called _The Hidden Library of Tanith Lee : Themes and Subtexts from Dionysos to the Immortal Gene_. It's written by a Mavis Haut, and you can find it at Amazon. Personally, I'm kind of torn between glee at the prospect of reading it, and despair that I didn't get to write it.
Hope it helps,

The Mavis Haut book is listed at Amazon, but is not available until May 2001 which I suspect will be too late to help you?
I have also tried checking into EBSCO an academic search engine that brings up scholarly articles and reviews. I was able to find quite a few book reviews of Lee's work, but nothing of a critical nature.
You may be out of luck here when it comes to specifically finding critical studies of Lee. How about secondary sources for some of the ideas that Lee uses? Such as archtypes (in which case I agree with Karen's suggestion in the other post)...are there issues, or images or ideas in Lee's work that you find compelling and want to write about? Maybe tackling the issues will give you more amunition and confidence to express your own ideas about what you think is in her work?

Betsy Hearne discusses Tanith Lee's short story "Beauty" for 4-5 pages in her "Beauty and the Beast: Visions and Revisions of an Old Tale." Most public and academic libraries carry this book in my experience. This was actually how I learned about Lee's "Red as Blood" originally when it had been long out of print.
