PLEASE help me find this!
Hello darlings!
Everyone here is posting such intellectual conversation, but I desperately desperately need help! I am looking for a Cinderella movie, and it is described perfectly in this posting. There was never any reply or ending, and I am pretty sure the movie I am looking for it not either. If you can help me, I would greatly appreciate it!
The movie in question, I remember it from probably 15 years ago, I was probably 5-9 when I was watching it, and I remember it being a little fuzzy, like movies from the 70's and 80's could be, and I think the young girl playing Cinderella had long, light hair, I am thinking blonde. This has started to haunt my dreams, if anyone can help me out, I will be beyond grateful!

Is it the Aschenputtel mentioned in the second to last post? There's a decently sized cover image from the out-of-print video on Amazon (follow link above) that may help you identify it.

No, but this could be it..
It's definitely not that one, that is far too new for what I'm thinking, but I have a feeling that it COULD be this one. The cover seems quite familiar, so I'm hoping this is it.

I hope that is the movie.
Also, the most complete listing of Cinderella films is on Russell Peck's Bibliography, which can be difficult to navigate, so here is a link to the Movies and TV adaptations page. Try looking on there to see if any other films are a possibility.

I just looked at the old thread. I haven't seen any movies like that, but I do remember reading some old stories (in the usual sources) where there is a tree planted on her mother's grave that gives her various things (depending on which story). I do have a memory of a story where dresses came floating down straight from the tree, not in nuts or any other container.
