Re: CHANEL NO5 advert analysis
A good resource to check out would be Little
Red Riding Hood Uncloaked: Sex, Morality and the Evolution of a
Fairy Tale. The author traces the tale from Perrault and stops
for awhile in modern advertisements; I believe she even mentions
that ad or a similar one.
The most obvious difference is that she is in no danger of being eaten by the wolf; he is reduced from predator to pet, and she takes on a (somewhat subversive) predatory role, what with the perfume and the outfit. I'd write more if I had the time, but as it is I must go. Good luck!

semiotic analysis
have a look at Roland Barthes's 'Myth Today' in his volume Mythologies for a semiotic look at analysis of complex cultural symbols.
Have you seen the current Nina Ricci print ad for perfume, using Snow White motifs?
