Question on Penguin Classics (mainly on their "Peter Pa
I understand that some of the entries in this series are pretty good for gaining insight into the works of literature and its history/evolution. I have read, for example, that "The Nutcracker" entry will contain the original Hoffman version and Dumas' retelling. And I know that the "Alice" entry contains not just "Wonderland" and "Looking Glass", but also "Alice's Adventures Underground", the version of "Wonderland" that was given to Alice Liddell as a private present, not to mention essays and introductions. I was wondering, therefore, if anybody has come across the "Peter Pan" entry in the Penguin Classics line:
www.amazon.co.uk/Peter-Pa...T0YB77QXBW
The cover obviously points that it includes both "Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens" and "Peter and Wendy", but does anyone know if it also contains the original script of the stage play ("Adventures Underground" isn't advertised on the front cover of the "Alice" entry)? I know that the original play is available as part of a selection of Barrie's plays, but I would like to know if anybody can confirm whether it appears in this book or not.
Thank you if you can help. :-)
