fairytale collection from 1950's
I am trying to find a book of fairtales I had as a very young child in the early 1950s. The story I am particularly interested in was about an old lady who turned into a woodpecker. It also had Jack and the Beanstalk in it, The Shoemaker and the Elf, Rapunzel.

Did the old lady get turned into a red-headed woodpecker, because she wore a red cap?

Re: woodpecker
Could the book be "Dean’s A Book of Fairy Tales Contents: Little Red Riding Hood, Mother Goose, HopO’' My Thumb, Goldilocks and the Three Bears, The Three Little Pigs, Rumpelstiltskin, Jack and the Beanstalk, The Frog Prince, The Princess and the Pea, The White Cat, Little Ida's Flowers, Ole Luckoie or the Dustman, Thumbelina, The Top and the Ball, The Darning Needle, Blockhead Hans, Sleeping Beauty, Puss in the Boots, Tom Thumb, Hansel and Gretel, and Babes in the Wood. Illustrated by Anne and Janet Grahame Johnston, 1977 edition, Playmore New York, Dean & Son."?
I have this book, it's in excellent condition and I am willing to sell. Thanks, MaryjKittredge@aol.com
