Titania/Armless Maiden film
Hi Everyone,
I'm posting to tell you about my next film project "Titania".
This film finds its inspiration in Shakespeare's "Midsummer" and the fairy tale of The Armless Maiden. After having her wings violently torn from her body Titania is confined to the grounds of her estate. Natural law dictates that if she were to ever leave the grounds of her home and venture into the forest she would die - hunted and slain by the harpies who inhabit the woods. When her son is kidnapped by his father and no one can help, she has no choice but to face her greatest fear and defy the edict that binds her, and keeps her alive. Thus begins her journey of healing to become whole again.
Principle photography for "Titania" begins January 2008, but we've been out to the site a few times over the summer getting our feet wet (literally) and doing screen tests.
