Legends of Ardmore - request for info
I had this email from someone in Texas, but it has foxed me. Can anyone on this board help?

"I'm trying to find out if stories of Lady Gwen & Carrick prince faires are real legends or just out of the pages of a romance novel . If they are real could you direct me to some info on them "

Thanks

PS. Does anyone know anything about what a 'skirrid' is - some sort of a giant connected with Abergavenny in Wales, I believe?

question
Hermes,

is that "prince faires" as in faires like public gatherings, or should it read "prince fairies?"
either way I guess I'm having trouble finding something. I've been checking under Ardmore and there too coming up with nothing. Any idea what romance novel this came out of? What was the original source for the reader from Texas of the tale?

Carrick would at least be Irish and there may be a specific tale associated with the place.

Re: question
If you want to know what book the legend is from try reading "Jewels of the Sun, Pearls of the Moon, & Heart of the Sea."
