Monsters in Children's Book Illustration exhibit
I can't find the card with all of the illustrators, but the Decordova Museum in Lincoln, MA is having an exhibition of Monsters in Contemporary Art and Monsters in Children's Book Illustration. Two of the illustrators I remember are Trina Schart Hyman and Barry Moser. It runs from September 15 through January 6, with an opening night reception on September 14. As soon as I find out more info, I'll post it here!

Thanks for posting this announcement. I'll be in Boston sometime in Oct/Nov, and will definitely go see it. The DeCordova's a great museum!

Info card
One of my coworkers is going to get some more copies of the card if anyone wants me to send it to them- just drop me an email. There are 2 images on it- one is by Hyman and the other is a funny looking monkey kind of creature with old human hands smoking a cigarette, yellow eyes bulging and the words "Imagine Yourself"- it's from a body image series, I think. I want copies just to post that image! Kinda cute in it's own way.

FYI... they just started posting info for this exhibit on the site (www.decordova.org) including the psycho-cute monkey image.
