Bordertown
I've been trying to find info on the out of print volumes 'LIfe on the Border' ; 'Borderlands' (I have the others). I was wondering if they would be going back into print any time soon, so that I might save myself outrageous prices on beaten up used books. (I spent 20 dollars on 'Elsewhere' five years ago, checking it out at the library and 'loosing' it. The poor thing is a broken down mess.)

Apparently there are some insiders on this board. I love the series and do wish to complete my set.

Thanks,
Zai000

Re: Bordertown

I don't have any insider knowledge, so maybe someone will be able to tell you more, but _Life on the Border_ is available for about $15.00 from amazon.com:

Prices are still on the high side, but not crazy high.

Borderland
We hope to do more Borderland books in the future, and perhaps at that time the older books might be reprinted. But there are no definite plans at the moment. So unless you want to wait a couple of years, I'd suggest tracking down used copies. For "Borderland" and "Bordertown," the original N.A.L. editions with Phil Hale covers are the best, in my opinion. I wanted Phil for all the books, but alas, the publishers disagreed.

Ah, memories of the old Borderlands website.
I still see the paperbacks at second hand bookstores here in the L.A. area fairly regularly, for a buck or two. I don't haunt stores as much as I used to due to lack of time, but maybe I should pick them up when I do so when I read posts like this I can offer to send them out.
