Sleeping Beauty and The Frog King
There was this movie that came out on the disney channel a long while back it was a sleeping beauty movie, it wasn't animated but played by real actors... and i think it was named differently too... I can't remember or find it anywhere... and then there was another movie "the frog king". I just can't remember there names or the people in them... Cannon Movie Tales / Golan/Globus
I believe you are speaking of the Golan/Globus versions:
The Frog Prince- starring Aileen Quinn as Princess Zora (best known for her role in the original movie ANNIE), Helen Hunt as Princess Henrietta, and John Paragon as Ribbit/Prince Of Freedly
Sleeping Beauty- starring Tahnee Welch as Princess Rosebud, Kenny Baker (I) as Elf, Morgan Fairchild as The Queen, David Holliday (I) as The King, Shai K. Ophir as Master Elf, and Jane Wiedlin as Fairy White (formerly of the Go Go Girls and Joan of Arc in BILL & TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE)
There were others, including Beauty and the Beast, Little Red Riding Hood, Puss in Boots, Snow White, Cinderella (2002), Hansel and Gretel. And you're right- at least the first 4 were shown on Disney- that's how I taped them. The Beauty and the Beast one especially haunted me since the first time I saw it, and I was so happy when they played it with oe of their parade of princesses (?) nights. It seems a lot of the actors and actresses who performed in these films also performed in the Faerie Tale Theater series and others like Willa and Dreamchild.
