So where do you publish?
Where do you published people send your fairy tales? I'll tell you mine: The Mythic Circle, Wonder (both may be defunct now for all I know). Who else?

Thanks in advance.

almost anywhere
A lot depends on the tale--sometimes there are YA anthologies--sometimes there are classic literary markets like the New Yorker--which just recently published AS Byatt new story--a modern fairy tale about the wyrm in woods. (lovely piece).

As far as magazines go, try looking at a good list of fantasy markets

www.marketlist.com/

This one on line is quite good--listing mig and small press--many of which now have websites. There are also a host of on line journals which are quite interesting--try www.bornmagazine.com This is a multimedia sort of site--combining text, original music and art. Kate Bernheimer (yah Kate!) had a quirky tiny fairytale on there that was lovely. (but this is for really short-short fiction).

the world's pretty open right now. good luck.
