tales second meanings????
im doing a school project about fairy tales. i have to find an alternate meaning to "Hansel and Gretel" does anyone have any ideas as to where online i could find some information? or if anyone on here has and info. i would really appreciate it. thank you.

alternate?
it would help to know what you mean by "alternate" meaning--what is the current meaning you are assuming (or your teacher is assuming). You will find quite a few interpretations on this board. But off hand, I'd say have a look at Donna Jo Napoli's novel "The Magic Circle"--now there's an alternate telling/meaning of the tale. Since the novel is a YA it won't take you very long at all to read and its quite powerful.

how soon is your paper due? Given that its mid-May, I'm guessing next week?
