the shoemaker and the fairy ??
Please, can anyone tell me of the fairty tale :
A poor shoemaker, with no food for the family goes home with his last poor quality pair of boots, to boil them to eat. that night a fairy comes and makes a high quality pair of boots from scraps. The shomaker is then able to sell the boots and buy food and enough leather for two more pairs of boots, which he then leaves the leather for the fairy....
can't remember the rest of the story. Can anyone help ?

email me @ firebird77clone@yahoo.com.

thanks

Re: ?????
I know of a similar story in which a Brownie helps a cobbler until the cobbler leaves him a gift of a cape, at which point the Brownie ceases to do work for the cobbler.
