court
I have this idea for a fantasy world. It takes place in a court, but I am having trouble on getting info on the court. I think it will be based on a medieval court, because I know lots of stuff on the middle ages (Yes I know, I am a nerd). Does anyone know where I can get some good information, or some good books that have courts in them that can help me? So far The Curse of Chalion and Court Duel have helped a lot.

Just to clarify...
Are you thinking in terms of a judicial court or a royal court? This might help with focusing the research for some of us...

I imagine you mean royal court with references to Court Duel and Curse of Chalion. BTW, I'm sure you already know Bujold's sequel to Chalion is due out this fall, but here's a link to it on Amazon:

For the basics to answer your question, you might like the inexpensive "Writer's Complete Fantasy Reference." It defines different courtly roles, describes a castle, and includes other commonly used fantasy elements. Here's a link to it on Amazon:

Clarification
Are you looking for fiction only? Or reference type? Are you looking for English, Italian, French, etc.? Contemporaneous or modern? Are you looking for information on types of characters only or other information generally?
I recall reading a really good book several (like 15 or more) years back about the building of a cathedral. It was fiction and a lot of it was political intrigue between religious and political types. It was an interesting way to wind a story - the cathedral being the tying piece. Not exactly fantasy, but I will see if I can find it.

The court in court duel seemed to me to be based very much on the French court at Versailles. I am not an expert on this subject, but I know it is widely studied, and that these people wrote all the time.
A little poking in that direction could yield some interesting biographies and original sources. The past several years have seen new biographies of Marie Antoinette and Madame Pompadour.
This is not to discourage your idea for a story. The great thing about fiction is that you can take all sorts of your favorite things and combine them into something that is your own.

Found it!
Ken Follet's Pillars of Stone. What I think you might find interesting is the historical fiction regarding Mildred (who was crowned, but never fully "recognized" as Queen), Stephen and Henry (II?), Mildred's son. That dates the story in the 1100's.

I looked at Mildred and wondered if it was Mild Red, or
Mil Dred or... so I looked it up:
MILDRED f English
Pronounced: MIL-dred
Means "gentle strength" from the Old English elements milde "gentle" and þryð "strength". Saint Mildred was a 7th-century abbess, the daughter of the Kentish princess Saint Ermenburga.
