Djinn
I am looking for an informative book on the myth of the Djinn for research purposes. Has anyone and good reccommendations?

I may be remembering incorrectly, but didn't we have a discussion about djinn some months ago? You might want to start by checking the archives.

Also, just to be clear about what you need - do you mean a non-fiction book describing djinn and the appearance of such creatures in folklore?

a related book...
Marian (?) Crawford wrote a book called "Khaled" which is about a djinn (who becomes human as punishment for something he did, marries a princess, etc.). Although the book is not 'from the source', it is built on good research, seems to be appropriate to the setting, and might help.
