Fairytales in Advertising
This is a topic Kerrie often covers on the board. I wanted to see if anyone else had seen the Tampax Tampons commercial that uses the three bears as it's inspiration. They are selling three different levels of absorbancy, after the spokesperson sells her initial "Too much, too little, just right" take on the product, she walks off screen and someone else comes in and says, "Who's been using my tampons?"

I didn't realize the three bears allusion until that point. Maybe I'm reading too much into this commercial, but I thought it was hilarious. Thank heavens they don't actually have bears selling tampons. (Though I imagine the diaper people, who often use nursery rhymes and fairytales to sell their product, will certainly pick up on this point.)

Re: Fairytales in Advertising
Has anyone else seen the commercial where Cinderella steals someone's credit card and goes on a shopping spree? Easier then waiting around for a fairy godmother to apperate, I guess. I haven't seen goldilocks and her tampons...

FT in AD....
I love that Cinderella commercial. I believe it is a commercial for Western Union although I think i am wrong. I also like the Covergirl Cinderella commercial. I also saw something about some new make-up or something that is called cherie tale(fairy tale) and they are using Little red riding Hood as there campaign slogan. Alot of commercials these days use fairy tales and mythological characters(such as mermaids) to sell their products
