Back!
Swanchick here, amateur fantasy writer. :)

I used to lurk on these boards a lot but have gotten away from it. Lately I've gotten rather obsessed with fairy tales again and I'm back.

My current project: I'm adapting Murat's "Bearskin" into this bizarre thing involving Henry VIII, an innocent lady-in-waiting, the goddess Artemis, and British legends of forest faeries. We'll see how this works out. :)

From the darkening days...
...I too emerge!

Sorry it has been so long!

Life has gotten out of control over the past year since my wedding, and now it's about to get more complicated- my husband has a new job and we're moving to Western MA. Not too far, but far enough to create a bit of stress (like what to do with all of my books?!) and to need a new job (freelancing either needs to pick up or I'll need what my husband and his friend refer to as a jobby-job).

I am actually working on some research for a novel I want to write, with possible some articles or a thesis or something more non-fictional to go with it. So I will be returning soon with a query for all to share in discussing. :)

Off to say goodbye to more locals.

Kerrie

Edit: BTW, welcome back swanchick!

Back too!
Kerrie and Swanchick,

I too re-emerge! It has been a long and difficult summer/fall. Thanks Kerrie, for bringing me back here again! :)
