tales magazine
I was recently shown a magazine that deals with fairy tales. It is open to people to contribute their art work to their next issue which is about hansel and gretal.
their web address is www.talesmagazine.com
I hope this is useful to people.

Thank you, Molly.I've just looked up the site you mentioned and the magazine sounds brilliant. Two backcopies are available-the first was themed around "The Emperor's New Clothes" and the second,"Rapunzel."(I'm sure you know this ,Molly-I just intended it for the other people out there.)
I'm particularly excited that the editorial team will be looking at work in all sorts of media-poetry, fiction, painting, collage, etc. etc.

Re: talesmagazine
thanks for the link. Not a contributing sort of person myself but the magazine looks fantastic!

A bit off topic here: has anyone ever read Found magazine? Not a fairy tale and not mythic but the magazine interests me for the gaps it allows you to fill in with stories. At any rate its quite nice made up of the bits of leftovers people leave from their life...messages on scarps of paper, old photos, drawings. I find myself now looking at the garbage on the streets as treasure.

This sounds like a great magazine- I think I'll go to the bookstore to find out if they have any copies or if I should order it offline. (I really hope they have it at the store- I am so impatient... :-P )

I haven't read Found magazine but I think I'll start looking for that one too.
