The Wife of Usher's well
I have a presentation about "The Wife of Usher's well" and I need an analysis about it especially the last three stanzas
The @#%$ he hadna craw'd but once,
And clapp'd his wings at a',
When the youngest to the eldest said,
"Brother, we must awa'.

"The @#%$ doth craw, the day doth daw,
The channerin' worlm doth chide;
Gin we be mist out o' our place,
A sair pain we maun bide.

"Fare ye weel, my mother dear!
Fareweel to barn and byre!
And fare ye weel, the bonny lass
That kindles my mother's fire.

can anyone help me plz? I need it soon

The Wife of Usher's Well
This is a favourite ballad of mine - it's so enigmatic! Here are a couple of links that may help with the vocabulary and set you thinking....
