Fairy Tale Dolls ...
I hope that this isn't too off-topic .... the other day I stumbled across this bizarre and lovely Korean doll site the other day, and I thought that some of you might appreciate it ... the quality of their work is amazing! Although some of their interpretations of fairy tales figures are too Disney-like for my taste (their first versions of Beauty and the Beast, their Snow White) others seem to be based on Adrienne Segur's images from The Golden Book of Fairy Tales. Their take on the Queen of Hearts in incredibly beautiful ... between that and Connie Toebe's beautiful shadowbox, I'm coming to a while new appreciation of this character. Happy browsing!
