Looking for PA German (Dutch) children's stories
Hi, I happened upon your site and was wondering if you could help me find some PA German (Dutch) fairy tales or children's stories. My daughter hopes to be a storyteller at a local festival this summer and would like to include some stories from the PA Dutch tradition.
Thanks,
Barb

PA Dutch
This is not a fairy tale but it is what my Grandmother told me as a last "story" or when she was too tired to actually tell one. She lived in Schwenksville, PA.

I'll tell you a story about Jack and Nory and now my storie's begun. I'll tell you another about Jack and his brother and now my story is done.

The Grimm Brothers were German and (as I understand) wrote their collected stories in German.
