Farie Tale Theater DVDs?
I'm officially confused. Is the 4-DVD set out yet? This one?

www.amazon.com/exec/obido...00077BPH8/

That Amazon listing as it reads now implies that it's out of print -- what's with the 3 to 5 weeks shipping? But the date on it (28 Dec 04) implies that it was just released. I couldn't find a B&N listing.

Anyone know what the deal is? This looks yummy...

Thanks!

Re: Farie Tale Theater DVDs?
The 4 Disc sets are shipping--I've seen a few go out this week through SurLaLune. But they have been officially bumped to an early February release date. The production fell behind according to Starmaker II, so they might be shipping a little slower than wanted right now. The 26 Disc sets shipped a little more slowly when first released, too.

Also, another company is releasing three of Duvall's Tall Tales and Legends episodes to DVD in February.

Amazon has ID problems on new releases at times--unreleased stuff gets listed as out of print instead of simply not released yet. Looks like a data entry glitch.

Re: Farie Tale Theater DVDs?
Okay, excellent! Thanks. I'll just sit tight for a couple of paychecks.

I just get all worried because the downside of all these DVD releases of television shows is that they sometimes go out of print FAST. Case in point: MY SO-CALLED LIFE. I missed the boat on that one, thinking that I could get it anytime, and now I'm hurtin' (on that score).
