Modern Interpretations of Elves and the Shoemaker
I am looking for modern interpretations of the tale to list on the Modern Interpretations of Elves and the Shoemaker. I have several already but I am looking for more. If you have more to add in addition to what I have already listed on the above page, please share here or in an email to me.

Thanks for the help!

Re: Modern Interpretations of Elves and the Shoemaker
For a film version there is Muppet Classic Theater which I believe was made for video. I confess to a particular fondness for elves as muppet Elvis impersonators--but that just reflects my twisted sense of humor.

In addition to "The Elves and the Shoemaker" the video includes "Three Little Pigs" (with Miss Piggy as the smart pig, of course), "King Midas", "Rumpelstiltskin", "The Boy Who Cried Wolf", and "The Emperor's New Clothes."

Best,
Alice

I always thought "Roach in Loafers" was a take on "Puss in Boots," not the elves. Interesting. I now see it in a new light.
