Searching for original or PD Halloween themed poems/writing
I'm currently working on a project that would incorporate music with words with-in a Halloween theme. Poems or writing would need to be very short, and read in under 3 minutes generally.

If anyone could direct me to a source that may have PD poems or if anyone here would be interested in submitting something that I may consider, please advise.

Of course if something of yours would work for this format, I would ask for permission before using the writing.

Any help appreciated,

Steve

tam lin
not sure if this would help but within the ballad tam lin there is the halloween reference where the veil that seperates the spirit or faery world is thin and the enchanted tam lin can be rescued by his fair lady janet. i just read Charles Vess' Book of Ballads (which is amazing in every sense) and the halloween reference struck me. i am not sure if that is helpful to your project or not - there are some really wonderful children's books that deal with halloween especially witches. my favorite as a child (it was one of the first books i ever owned) was the Blue Nosed Witch by margaret embry. another interesting source of Halloween lore from the wiccan perspective is The Pagan Book of Halloween by Gerina Dunwich, it was not as seeped in traditional folklore references as i had hoped but it did have some goodies in it.
good luck!

Quick question: what does "PD" stand for?

I probably know this, but it's early in the morning...
