Other Fairy Tale Discussion Sites?
Are there other fairy tale discussion sites or list serves like this one? I love this board and would like to find others like it? I'm looking for more discussion of fairy tales, myth, and fantasy, etc.

Thank you,
Denise

Here's one
Another good one, although technically I guess it's kind of related to this one, is the endicott studio web site, which is hosted by Terri Windling. There is a plethora of good information in there, and there is also a discussion board. I don't know the web address by heart, but if you just put endicott studio in a search engine, I'm sure it will come up. (That's actually how I get to this site each time, too. Even though I am lurking on this board pretty regularly, my memory is that terrible, all i can remember to type is "surlalune". Can't remember phone numbers, either. :)

Try using your favorites to store the web address. From the main page just right click and select "Add to favorites".

Re: Thank you!
Glad you found your way to the Endicott Studio site! As one of its editors along with founder Terri Windling, we are always happy when people discover us.

I do want to mention that our bulletin board is not so much a discussion board as a resource board--we try to update the board with information about almost anything to do with myth, fairy tale, mythic studies, writing and art. It's a good place to find out what's happening, share announcements, links to sites the community might be interested in, resources for writers, artists, drama and film. We also invite the community to share news, links ect.

But for discussions...Terri and I recommend to our readers to come here to Surlalune. We have been posting here for many years now and I am always amazed at the wealth of information and ideas readers bring to the board. I think Summer is a slower time for many boards (our own included as I take off for vacation!) but I have noticed in the fall, when courses begin at the university, the discussions become very rich academically...so perhaps you will find a bit more of what you are interested in in another month or so...

Thanks again!
Thank you, Midori. I will certainly stick around and look forward to the discussions here. I have a library degree and am thinking of going back for another Master's in literature or folklore with the intent of studying children's literature and fairy tales. Further studies are a ways off in the future, however. In the meantime, I really do enjoy reading these discussions. :)
