Born Magazine's new Installation
Hi everyone--I am just hoping that those of you who might live in the Seattle area will have the time to stop in see this new first rate art installation produced by Born Magazine--a terrific online, interactive and mixed media journal. The show is about comingling a diversely talented group of collaborators, interactive media and an engaged audience. Endicott helped to support the installation and in our Spring issue (coming up early May) there will be an article, and hopefully some film of the installation for those of you (like me...) who couldn't get there.

In any case, here's the announcement:

Come celebrate the opening night of Born Magazine's "Help Wanted: Collaborations in Art", a show that joins the talents of over 40 contributors from fields as diverse as poetry, comics, architecture, video, exhibit design and programming. Anyone out there want to contribute to "Help Wanted"? Then check out www.bornmagazine.org/youandwe -- You and We is a collaborative art project that blurs the boundaries between artist and audience. The piece relies on the audience to submit images and text, creating a continually evolving art piece that pulls randomly from its pool of submissions to pair an image and textual element into a final visual presentation. So submit an image(s) and/or text and look for your work at the opening!!

"Help Wanted: Collaborations in Art" is organized by Born's art director Gabe Kean and Jacob McMurray, senior curator at Experience Music Project. The exhibition runs through April 23, 2005.
