Sharing My News
Hey Folks,

I don't know if any of you will remember me - as it has been a really long time since I last posted - but unfortunately my father has recently been gravely ill. I am a mixed media figurative artist, and I just wanted to share my bit of news:

Wednesday, Nov. 2nd, at noon eastern and five pm eastern, I will be on HGTV's show, "That's Clever!", demonstating how to make a marionette.

I have also recently learned that I will be included in Epilogue's collection, New Masters of Fantasy! They will be producing the new CDRom very soon. The piece selected for inclusion is entitled "After the Masquerade", and can be seen at my website here:

I would love to hear your comments about her!

After everything else that has been going on, it was nice to have some good news!

Re: Sharing My News
Dear Chandra:

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about your father - I most sincerely hope that everything turns out for the best for you.

Concerning your other news, congratulations on all counts! AtM is a stunningly lovely piece, and there's obviously a story waiting to be told there ...

Best,
Helen

Just to echo the concerns over your father's illness and to wish him a good recovery. (And you too-illness affects the whole family. Like you didn't know that.)

I like At the Masquerade very much. And I do remember you. I remember contacting you for prices on some of your BEAUTIFUL items-and feeling at that stage that I could not afford one :( But one day, I will :)

Re: dolls
Thanks everybody for the cheers and well wishes!

Helen:

There is indeed a tale/tail behind this one - a long one full of intrigue and mystery. I hope that one day I'll see some of my art on your new online journal, Cabinet des Fees!

Veronica:

I remember you, too. My dad - incidently my biggest fan - gets a real kick out of my little successes!

Rosyelf:

I do remember your inquiries as well as your head turning kind words! If you get a chance, I hope that you can see me on the show this Wednesday. It should be a hoot!

Chandra, I think you have forgotten ;) I live the other side of the pond-therefore no chance of watching you make a marionette on HGTV :( But I'll be watching in spirit !

Oops! My mistake! :o

Well, if you'd like to see what the marionette looks like, check my website in a couple of days. Hopefully I'll have Mlle. Senyah, the Lady Gymnast, posted by then!
