Hollow backs?
I can't get at any of my folklore resources, but does anybody know the name of those creatures who appeared to be beautiful ladies but had hollow backs? Did they have hooves as well? Drat, not being able to look through my books!

Huldra is a Scandanavian wood witch/tree woman. She appears on the front like a beautiful woman, enchanting men. But when they get near her she shows them her back, a rotting tree stump. The men go mad unable to find the beautiful woman who called to them in the forest.
