can anyone help identify story?
i remember snatchs of a story about a women unable to have children so she visited a wise women who gave her 2 flowers one beautiful and another a withered and black, the wise women told her to eat the pretty flower and sleep with the other ugly flower under her bed.. the woman did so and found it to be so delicious she was tempted to eat the other and finally gave in to tempation and ate it only it tasted horrid.. she became pregnant with twins and had girls one as pretty as the beautiful flower and the other as naughty as bad as the ugly bitter flower.. the only thing i remember next is that the bad daughter loved her sister very much and saved her from being captured or something and the bad girl used to ride a goat using a wooden spoon as a riding crop.... i would be very grateful if anyone could help me find this story again.. thankyou.

Ah, I love that story! I've always identified with Tatterhood though I had neither wooden spoon nor goat.
