For the link and info on the new book. I'll check that out. So much for The End, eh? Guess it's hard to ignore the publisher waving all that green stuff in your face.

No, I certainly don't want an endless string of pie-in-the-sky endings either, but as I said earlier, it has gotten to the point where the downer ending has suplanted that, and is equally as unreal, as well as boring and expected. So too the anti-hero, something new and fresh in the early 70's, now stale and rotten and unsympathetic.

I like Jane's example of Isaac and the Ram. This is exactly what I am talking about.
