If it lists the Japanese publisher, I could check their site and find out. You could also e-mail the U.S. publisher and ask what the Japanese name was, or who published them.
I can read some Japanese. Not enough to translate a whole book, but definately a title.

I tried e-mailing the English company. Here is what I wrote:
"Hm, well do you have any information you can give me, like the name of the Japanese company or anything? I've searched and searched, and I can hardly find anything at all from this book series, and I don't think they were released in the country where I live.
Thanks for all of your help."
And their reply:
"I really am sorry Mr Prower I can not tell you any more than that, as it is a while since we sold these books."
